Puppy Welcome

Puppy jumps up
As I come in.
So excited -
Full body spin.

I have been gone
For oh so long.
Five whole minutes -
Her love is strong.

      Hi Liz! No, our dog is a 3 year old Rat Terrier, but she acts the same way she did when she was a brand new puppy. I wonder if she'll ever slow down. :)
