Acute Tweenager

She's not a teen,
but not a child.
Her hormones swing,
her moods are wild.

Coming or going?
She's not sure.
Angst of a tween,
there is no cure.

  1. No, I agree. When I taught this age, I always had such sympathy for that angst. Sometimes one just has to get through it! You've written it exactly right, Bridget.

    1. Thanks, Linda! Adolescence, from tween to late teen, is challenging and exhilarating for both the child and parent. I'm living both ends of the spectrum every day...and loving it. (for the most part ;o)
