I saunter near
rabbits scat.
I’m rather small
for a wild cat.

Have you noticed
my shortened tail?
Better for prowling
the desert trail.

About my name,
I am a snob.
I’ll only answer
if you call me, Bob.

Who am I?

I am a bobcat.

    Love this, Bridget, each part tells a lot. There are bobcats in Missouri, too. My brother used to have to be careful with his chickens because of them. He spied one prowling around the animal sheds one night. Happy New Year!

      Thanks, Linda! Bobcats can cause a lot of harm to small animals, but they are quite beautiful none the less. = )
